Need braces? Have family members or friends that need braces?

Ortho ClinicThe College of Dental Medicine is offering a free screening and consultation, which includes an examination to qualify patients who are candidates for orthodontic treatment (braces). Qualified patients will be scheduled for diagnostic records and shortly after begin orthodontic treatment. Following the start of treatment, routine appointments will typically be scheduled every four to six weeks at the college’s state-of-the-art clinic located at 4 Sunset Way, Building C in Henderson.

According to Dr. C. Lynn Hurst, dean of the College of Dental Medicine, patients will receive affordable, high-quality orthodontic treatment from a team that includes both a resident doctor, fully licensed by the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners, and board certified orthodontist faculty.

“In receiving treatment at the USN College of Dental Medicine, patients will have the benefit of a highly skilled team offering the latest technology and practices used to correct orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic discrepancies, such as crooked teeth and jaws,” said Dr. Hurst. “They’ll also receive treatment
at a very affordable cost.”

LobbyTypically braces can cost $6,000 or more, but the college offer braces, as well as other orthodontic treatments, to patients for as little as quarter to half of those fees. The college also accepts most dental insurance plans, including Medicaid, and will provide affordable payment plans.
