Thank you to the Las Vegas community for coming out to the 13th Annual Bite of Las Vegas on Saturday. The Mix 94.1 FM music and food festival attracted about 40,000 people, making it a huge success.
USN’s College of Dental Medicine showcased its orthodontic services to thousands of families, many of which signed up for a free screening and consultation. The college also distributed Halloween tips for people with braces as well as travel toothbrushes with toothpaste. Hundreds of people also signed up for a drawing to win a free, orange iPod Nano. The winner was drawn today. Congratulations to 19-year-old Jennifer Liester of Las Vegas!!!
A special thanks goes out to the volunteers who braved the unusually hot October day to help decorate the college’s Halloween-themed booth and answer questions for the hundreds of visitors who inquired about orthodontic services, including Jason Roth, Angela Bigby, Joycelynn Nicholas, Xan Goodman, Dana Pachar, Candace Butler, Dr. Shaun Perryman, Dr. Kashif Ismail, Dr. Beth Yamashiro, Dr. Diane Rhee, Dr. Alana Whittaker and Dr. Jaleh Pourhamidi. Also, thanks to Sukanya Mandal and USN’s graphic designer Billy George for helping put together the materials. The success of this event would not have been realized without the help of each of these individuals.
Now enjoy some pictures from the event:
